Electrical Guide – All Models
Ensuring the correct electrical setup is critical for the proper functioning of your Rasa Royal Machine. Follow this professional guide to avoid potential damage, maintain warranty coverage, and ensure optimal performance.
Verifying Correct Electrical Installation
Each Rasa Royal machine is supplied with a cord and UK plug (Malaysia Power Plug). A licensed electrician must install the appropriate receptacle, electrical line, and circuit breaker to power the machine. Supplying incorrect power can cause machine failures, void the warranty, and may result in irreversible damage to electrical components.
Special Advisory
It is essential to provide clean, stable power to your machine. Using a generator or operating in areas prone to power fluctuations (e.g., brownouts, power dips, or spikes) can lead to machine malfunctions. In such cases:
- Older Wiring: Upgrading building wiring may resolve issues.
- Stabilisation Equipment: Additional equipment, such as a buck-boost transformer, may be necessary to stabilise power. You may purchase directly from shopee / lazada with come with SIRIM endorsement.
- Generators: Ensure the generator supplies sufficient power to prevent voltage drops during high-demand operations, such as when compressors activate. You may direct refer to our sales team for the suitable generator selection.
All the power socket must be direct install source from DB Box. Not allow for sharing / looping on the power socket.

Power Connection
Verifying Electrical Supply
Before powering the machine:
- Confirm that the incoming electrical supply is wired correctly at the circuit breaker or wall receptacle.
Follow these guidelines:
- 220V, Single-Phase Machines: Two hot wires and one ground wire (Green Cable).
- Refer to the certified electrical installer for proper installation.
Proper Wiring
- Connect all wires, including neutral and ground, to the receptacle or circuit breaker.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and guidelines.
- Secure all connections to protect them from moisture, spills, or environmental hazards. Use a drip loop or other approved methods to safeguard connections.
Initial Power-Up and Motor Direction Check
Turn on Machine Power
- Ensure the machine is completely disassembled (all parts removed from the freezing cylinders).
- Use the WASH mode to verify motor operation.
Motor Direction
- Check the motor pulley with correct rotation direction.
Check Display Screen For The Voltage Display Number
- Display Screen should appear the range of 230v - 245v
- If the voltage display around <220v - 225v, this might cause a risk of auto shutoff. Low voltage protection from command center.
- If the voltage display around >248v, this might have a high chances of auto shutoff. High voltage protection from command center.
- If the display screen appear with 238v, kindly click the "freeze" / "auto" button to monitor the voltage display stability. If the voltage number drop too much after 20 second of machine running, please immediately stop the machine and refer to technician team. The correct of voltage flow must be within ±3.
Important Warnings
- Electrical Safety: Ensure all electrical connections are secure and protected from environmental risks such as moisture or spillage.
- Operational Safety: When operating the machine in WASH mode with the panels or dispensing door removed, exercise extreme caution. Keep hands, tools, and other objects away from the freezing cylinders and internal components to prevent injury or damage.
